Aftersales Manager Tasks and Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for the departments P & L and budgets
- Management of customer satisfaction
- Management and control of WIP, warranty and debtors
- Aftersales database marketing
- Aftersales franchise standards and manufacturer relationships
- Recruitment, training and development of staff
- Continuing relationships with internal staff and manufacturer representatives
What Does an Aftersales Manager Earn
The salary for an experienced Aftersales Manager or Service Manager does depend on the departments annual turnover and number of staff in most cases. Generally the basic salary will be from £30,000 to £50,000 plus bonus, company car, pension and life insurance.
Hours of Work for Aftersales Managers
As an Aftersales Manager it is most likely you will have written in your contract of employment “working hours to meet the needs of the business” and working hours can tend to be from 44 to 55 per week with some Saturday mornings. Some workshop, Fast Fit and HGV service operations work shift patterns across the seven day week.
